Which, I do not know why this isn't a thing already. They made Figure-Rise Ultraman figures, complete with LED color timer. I know that Gridman is technically not part of the Ultra Series..
More like a side story... But still, you'd think this would be a no brainier.
But, for some reason only God knows, Minipla is the more expensive line, and since it does incorporate Mecha, Minipla it is.
I ordered both classic Minipla sets of Thunder Gridman, and King Gridman Sigma. From the reviews I've seen, they seem solid and with a little custom magic, they have potential to be amazing.
Once I have those done, then will most likely pick up a SSSS Gridman Minipla set. I am just not a fan of his legs appearing to have not as much sculpted detail as they should, but sadly, it may end up being a more solid construct than Act Builder or DX Max.
Hopefully less parts formery than other miniplas. The classic Gridman only has minor parts forming and looks show accurate, which is what sold me on those. Voltron... Yuck.
