I guess my question is: do Hasbro Comic-Con exclusives for Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel, etc usually get mass releases at some point down the line? If so, then what's the point of them being a Comic-Con exclusive?

Same with Star Wars. The exclusives are usually just brand-new figures with a dozen (mostly irrelevant) accessories and / or special packaging. But said figures just end up at retail later anyways, but in standard packaging with fewer (relevant) accessories. This year they have Episode I figures on special, retro card backs, but the figures themselves will be released in standard Black-series boxes later.

I would expect the same here, Zeo Gold will probably be released single packaged at retail, maybe with just one variant of the staff, but still.

I don't know about these coming to stores with the SDCC Ghostbusters Optimus Prime being only available at SDCC and Hasbro Pulse. So if you want the two pack of Jason you might have to get it from Hasbro Pulse.
