I feel it's not just that the Time Mazines might have sold well, but you've also got to consider the scale as well. The gimmick figures that interact with these big DX machine things are now a fair bit smaller; which means said big DX machine things are now much easier to produce. It's very noticeable that after it being an almost constant feature since Den-O, they suddenly vanished during Ex-Aid and Build and only returned when the toyline got a lot smaller and hence there's less plastic and money needed to produce them...
