I think just about all of us assumed it'd be something like him living peacefully in a not-apocalyptic future or whatever. Instead he was so upset over how his conversation with Sougo last episode ended, that he just wishes so hard he could redo it and just tell him about how he just wants to create a brighter future with him and aaaaw geez did I eat it up.

That was probably my favorite scene from this episode and it really shows how far Geiz and Sougo's relationship has come.
