That's the weird thing for me: I really like the suits. Wizard had the same thing, where I front-to-back loved the suits, but found the stories really dull. It's like finding someone really attractive, and then you start talking to them and you're bored to death. Somehow it's more frustrating than if none of it worked.

I've not seen enough of the franchise to experience that for myself, at least in that I've pretty much overall enjoyed everything I've watched. Even Wizard overall had enough quality things in it that I don't hate the series. The Wizard appearance in Wizard/Gaim was okay, but the first third just felt so disconnected from the other two-thirds that it was difficult to really enjoy it.
