Likewise. I'm English, and have lived here in the UK my whole life. I'm very poor. It would cost me £400+ just for the flight to America in-general, and up to even £700+ depending on where in the US it is held. This isn't even including hotel bills and the like. I would never be able to afford that.
It'd be just £20 to get to London from were I live - which, even with hotel bills, would be far, far less than even half the price of a ticket to the US.

It's unfortunate that, for various reasons, you've been unable to attend before...but there are thousands of people all across Europe, for whom America has simply been too far to travel to, but London is much more accessible - they deserve a chance too.
Besides, there was never any indication that Worlds would be held anywhere near to where you live in the US even if it were being held in America. You mentioned you're gonna be living around Vegas? What if Worlds was held on the East Coast again?
