That was an interesting episode.

Lotta people saying it's similar to Build and Ryuki and therefore it's bad.

I didn't really see much of a way to rectify the timeline at this state.

My praise for Zi-O is.... still up there. This finale arc felt interesting and got more hype as we got closer to now.

Junichirou came in clutch and fixed the watches, enabling a pretty hype fight using Grand. It still got one-shotted by Swartz, but at least it put up a good fight.

Too bad Tsukuyomi was one-shotted, but at least she managed to distract Swartz enough with a backstab.

Ohma's henshin was as explosive as I had anticipated. OH MY GOODNESS IT ONE-SHOTS EVERYTHING; THIS IS JUST A CHAIN OF ONE-HIT KILLS!
The final kick was amazing, too.

And then there's the timeline reset, merge, and overall creation of a new timeline where everyone is alive and no one remembers it except Sougo. Interesting.
I can see why people think it's like Build in that regard. Didn't Ryuki involve some sort of time loop in one of its endings, that came out the same way?

With how rushed it was, the final episode brings to mind Ex-Aid or Gurren Lagann. A really quick final battle, and then a quick recap to bring everything to a close. It was fine for what it was.

However confusing Zi-O has been...
With how annoying some of the haters have been.....
However nonsensical Kento and Mouri's writing was...
Even though we didn't get a Future Sougo face reveal (even though we didn't need one; thought it was revealed to be Seiji Takaiwa)...
Even though the finale arc wasn't as "finale" esque at the start....
Through the nonexistent Time Jackers...
And even through Sougo, Geiz, Woz, Tsukuyomi, and Junichirou's familial and admittedly heartwarming antics....

I still like this show. I'm glad I stuck with it. And with all those Zero-One ads, I have hope for the future our little king protected.
