I see where you're getting at, but you know, if you as a reader, watcher, are investing yourself in the piece you're given, you can tend to become overcritical if the ending is underwhelming...

As for me....Build and ZI-O have been underwhelming on these aspects.
Build's narration and pacing were in the end better than ZI-O, but that ending destroyed all that.

ZI-O had pacing problems and the narration wasn't always good, the ending could have transformed ZI-O into being compelling but nope. In the end we get an ending that is a disappointment....

In the end, I'm asking myself why I was watching that. Toei really needs to step up their games because two Riders in a row with a " not taking risks" ending attitude is really getting on my nerves. This is not how you should tell a story.
