Episode 6 is one of my favorites from the entirety of Build. It's a real "show, don't tell" episode. It builds (this show is so hard to talk about!) to this conflict in a natural, organic way, and it sort-of honors both characters' viewpoints. It doesn't explicitly make Banjou the guy who has to grovel for Sento's forgiveness. Banjou was wrong to potentially sacrifice Nightmare Teeth, and he apologizes, but Sento begins to understand the hypocrisy of "I'll always help people over finding out what happened to my memories" when he doesn't actually have to choose. Once the choice is right there, in front of him, cackling like an asshole, it's easier to be selfish. And, yeah, Banjou gets to see what it looks like when someone makes the selfish choice instead of the selfless one. Just, GODDAMN! Such a great two-parter!
