Oh, man, I'm glad people dug this. I didn't think I was, like, seeing some invisible thing on a wavelength only I can perceive, but if a bunch of people had posted that these episodes sucked and I'm talking up mediocre content? Bummer. Solid gold bummer.

I get why Sento is reacting that way, I get why everything makes sense and all of that, but I don't get why I'm not feeling something here and it frustrates me. I've been there, sort-of. Art that has a huge impact on other people sometimes has me going, "I get why it's doing that for you, it's not doing that for me." I don't think it's some huge crime. Art (even great art!) is subjective, and as long as you can acknowledge the craft (which you did) it's okay to say the whole thing wasn't for you.

And the frustration, though, yeah, been there, too. There's movies I've disliked that I've watched multiple times, trying to find the quality that must be in there somewhere, I just can't find it. Yeah, it's a pain to feel like everything's adding up in a story, but the emotional reaction never takes place. I guess, don't beat yourself up about it?
