Oh, for sure. It's so much more of what was good about the series. Some of my complaint isn't exactly the lack of scientific explanation (this is still a TV show about how a series of tiny bottles grant magic powers when put in a special belt) as it is a weird hand-wave of ethical concerns and complications. Sento's like, "We're going to pull another Earth out of a black hole and combine it with our Earth, and I don't know what'll happen afterwards except Evol(t) will be dead," and the whole cast is like, "Sounds good, I guess." Even for Kamen Rider Build, Sento is saying insane things, and no one's really reacting to it. Weird choice!

No, that was good. You're right. I felt like it had more to do with Banjou realizing that, as he had some of Evol(t)'s DNA, the new world might be at risk if he stayed on it, so he'd have to leave with Evol(t). But, man, I like your read, too. I like that it ties into Banjou's later "you were our hero" speech, where Sento had sacrificed so much to save everyone so many times, he should have this small reward of survival. That's very sweet. I like it.

I'm gonna unspoiler that, since I already referenced it. That part was great! I could've been okay with Sento being the lone survivor, essentially, the only one who remembered the struggles and triumphs and friendships and family of the last 49 episodes, but NOPE here's Banjou, and the show gets the best ending it could have. It's great. It's great like Ankh showing back up in the winter movie, where Eiji is just destroyed by his good luck, and Ankh's just, "You got fat." Here, you've got reconciled Sento and freaked-out Banjou, and it's just the right reunion energy.

Final Stage is good, I watched it myself a few weeks back, it's definitely feels a little more childish (and nonsensical), but it has the heart of the show. Heisei Generations Forever... that's a little more oof. It has some good, it has some bad, I'm not the biggest fan.

Prime Rogue I did a week or so ago, I think just before Be The One, and it was fun. Not as bizarre or emotional as Kuma Grease, but a lot of funny stuff with Gentoku and Misora. Final Stage is maybe the last Build thing I'll watch, after New World and the other short films. HGF, that's going to wait until Zi-O, which is going to have to wait for the first ten Heisei series, soooo... a year? Maybe?
