Well, based on what we know from Saikyou Battle, Gaisorg retains knowledge of techniques even when it changes hosts. So it's possible Gaisorg once had control over Towa and Banba's master. Judging by the preview, Nada becoming Gaisorg is a recent development.

As for the episode:

As the guest of the week was formerly Akiko from KRW, it was fun to see them dial the references up with the use of the green slipper.

A fun filler episode for Canalo, lots of great action and character moments and some neat new developments too.

-Kou officially passes MeraMera Soul to Banba

-We learn Gaisorg is currently possessing none other than Nada

-The ice bird for the major upgrade was teased via an Oto appearance

Got to see KishiryuOh Driken again after so long too. Overall a really solid episode and I am excited to see where this leads next week.
