Anyway speaking of Horobi, I thought it was interesting that the exposed mechanics where his 'ears' were missing was jagged and torn, while for Jin it was smooth and clean. I assume it's because Jin was intentionally built without the outer structure but Horobi had his ripped off somehow?

More interesting is how they continued to function without the earpieces.
