Agreed, but that doesn't mean they can't produce new footage of an older team, use SOME choice elements from older Sentai footage (particularly Movie Specials as some were in widescreen), and rely on an older team's appearance in modern Sentai like Gokaiger!

Mecha are far more problematic in this, but Toei relied on stock for the 199, produced new suits of old designs as needed like Flash King and Daizyujin in Go-Busters VS. Gokaiger, and used special effects to showcase an older Mecha like Super Live Robo in both Gokaiger and Zyuohger!
