Same. The show felt very self-aware in a lighthearted sorta way at that point, even Fuwa knows they printed a new toy for him to advertise

I'm looking forward to seeing what he'll do with the key though - if he ends up unwillingly cultivating it for Metsubojinrai.net’s further use that could be a huge impact for him.

Funnily that's what I disliked the most. Assault Wolf's debut was rather weak.

What made this work for me is how Fuwa explicitly stated that it is hella shady that Raiden survived Daybreak. And he was right. They introduced an older model HumaGear, with access to the tech necessary to survey HumaGear who gained sentience, but make him fun and likeable, so we as the viewer don't even waste a thought that he could be the spy. But he totally is. And a hidden program isn't unheard of with fictional AI, so that wasn't too bad either.

Yes, it is very convenient that they're looking for a spy and the spy decides to chew out Aruto for his bike-usage at the same time, but it's still not that terrible IMO.

I'm not gonna object, it is a bit weird. I didn’t like this much either.

However: By having Fuwa use a key made by Metsubojinra.net he will unwillingly aid them and I'm very much looking forward to how that's all going down.

Doesn’t bother me really. What would’ve been better though is if Jin / Horobi / the Assassin managed to snag a few keys over the course of the last few episodes. Aruto can't even use all these keys all the time so it wouldn't have mattered from a suit advertisement kinda-deal anyways.

Like: Dodo picks up mammoth after beating Shining Hopper. Horobi picks up shark after defeating Zero-One, slowly but surely he's losing a few keys until Ikazuchi takes like two this week and they have enough. That would've been a cleaner way to handle things.
