Transformers 2005 IDW Continuity tried to kick-start a joint universe with other Hasbro properties towards the end.

If the claim is true, this is in no way all that surprising!

Since the Rangers are a part of Hasbro now, this was inevitable, but the fact that something might be happening this soon might mean that Hasbro wants a slice of the pie that the MCU has enjoyed! Everyone who isn't Marvel wants to ripoff Marvel!

Since this technically still falls under rumor, I'll reserve feelings of utter amusement until more official confirmation reveals itself.
