The only Bayformer I find acceptable is the first one. 2 & 3 were facepalms. 4 & 5 convinced me Bay was on dope. Then Bumblebee was released. Finally, a Transformers movie that gave us characters and story, after Bay gave us explosions. Of course, I watched them all, and immediately forgot them the moment I stepped up from my seat.

I'd rather have 1 decent movie for Power Rangers OR Transformers than 1 crappy crossover. Crossover/shared universe is very likely going to be a mess. It may work in limited scope, for example a crossover between current season and previous season of Power Rangers. Creating a shared universe for vastly different stories is very hard, if not impossible, without turning it into an incomprehensible mess. Well, perhaps people today love incomprehensible stories. Might as well create a shared universe with My Little Pony. Or worse, add a lethal dose of PC, like Disney does.
