He already admitted that HE is the one who decided to make the Ark bad by flooding it with "human makes war" and that kind of things.

So, his main objective would be to prove that : "Humans are better than AIs/Humagears"
But because he thinks AI are dangerous, and to prove his point, he would show the Ark that humans ARE BAD to make the (not yet bad) humagears bad themselves.

There is something wrong in the logic here.
