So, like, that's the argument that's getting me into trouble. Figuarts, even the ones that aren't ridiculously expensive Premium Bandai Exclusives... it's not that they're out of my price range, but they're definitely more than I want to spend on action figures. (Transforming robot toys, totally different equation.) So, thus far, I've kept my Figuarts purchases to the main forms for the primary Rider of shows I've watched. That's my rule, and I've stuck to it so far.

But these SO-DO figs, these goddamn SO-DO figs... they're so cheap, individually, that it's easier to just get whatever looks cool. A whole case of a series, with four to six figs and maybe some accessories, it's less than half what I'd pay for a Figuarts. What a deal! Hell, at those prices I can get a couple series! And, man, it'd be cool to have every Build form, and the W ones are fairly recent, and I love OOO, and and and all of a sudden I'm spending way more on SO-DO figs than I'd maybe be spending on getting a Figuarts a month. That's my fear, that the collector bug takes over and I'm scouring Mandarake for a HBV-only Build form that I don't really love but now I'm paying $40 with shipping to own it because it's the only one I'm missing. I'm worried (maybe unnecessarily, I haven't even messed around with these figs, maybe I'll hate them) that a hundred or so "cheap toys" will feel a lot less cheap to my bank account.

Anyway, that's how my broken brain works. I haven't even started enjoying something and I'm projecting my financial ruin. How's your Saturday going?
