I didn't had high expectations for this movie, but it was a lot better than I thought it would be.

The first half definitely had me laughing, whilst the second half was, although quite dumb, made some sort of sense. Like, Quartzers wants to redo the Heisei era to establish continuity. Decent motive, but execution? Not so much.

The movie villains were all show and not much substance. They don't have much personality (well, Zonjis keeps growling and shaking like an animal for...some reason) but their designs, henshins and fight scenes were GENIUS. And embarrassingly I'm still singing their henshin jingles.

The fanservice was great. Seeing not-so-much-seen Riders like G or Brain was awesome. Hell, they even got Kamen Norider's actor in this!

All in all, Over Quartzer was great. A great movie? Probably not. A fun movie? Definitely yes.

As for having continuity, I don't think we're gonna see that in the Reiwa Riders either. You want continuity? Go watch Ultraman.
