I like it. Sengoku era Japan action stuff, basically the unborn child of a lord gets sacrificed to demons for the land to prosper, the baby is born alive but without limbs, facial features, skin... without anything really.

A war veteran who makes prostheses finds and raises it, makes him prosthetic limbs, eyes, nose etc. The child, basically unable to perceive the world aside from being able to "see" the soul of living things is attacked by demons all his life until he slays one. He then grows a leg back and they realize killing the demons that fed on his body lets him regain what he has lost.

Outfitted with swords hidden in his prosthetic arms he journeys through the land to slay demons. He meets a child thief named Dororo who decides to travel with him.

While it has its comedic moments it’s a rather dark piece that tells tales of people lost in the horrors of war. What makes it interesting is that the protagonist, named Hyakkimaru by Dororo, is disabled and learns about the world more and more with the body parts and senses that he gets back.

I would give it a try, I got sucked in by the first episodes and couldn’t stop.
