Okay yeah this episode is clearly padding for Metal Cluster Hopper's true debut.

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy this episode. This episode was great!

-A nice quick scene that gives us all we need to know on the Metal Cluster problem.

-Fun little cameo from the VP and his assistant.

-Yua's robotic and clearly bored delivery of Gai's resume, only for her to have to stifle a laugh when Match points out all of Gai's terrible aspects. That entire matchmaking scene with Gai in general was just great.

-Yua actually fairing well against the Penguin Raider to where I don't really see why we needed Metal Cluster in the first fight aside from letting the Raider get away.

-Bringing back the Actor Humagear from the Movie Two-Parter as the priest was a nice callback.

-Also that swearing scene and how Izu looks like she regretted all of the choices that lead up to that moment. Her expression really sells it.

-Not to mention the little touch of Match still having some of his protocol intact while he was a Magia. Putting himself in the way of Metal Clusters Finisher just to keep the Raider's damage to a minimum so he and his childhood friend could get closer together as a result.
