Thanks, I'm glad you like it! And yeah, their movie should totally air on Valentines Day and be set on it too, because what better day for a showdown between the power of love and the forces of evil?

As for Steel Heart, I like your "lost love" idea but I feel it might work better for a different villain... okay, I'm just spitballing here, but check this out:

The main villain is some kind of mad scientist whose goal is to steal the love from people, and eventually we learn that he's doing it because he hopes to use the power of the stolen love to bring back his dead family back to life! And Steel Heart is one of his earlier attempts, an android made in the image of his son, but after completing him the scientist rejects him as "just a copy." So Steel fights the Heartrangers to try and prove his worth to his "father," until Red Heart befriends him and teaches him to believe in his own worth instead of seeking approval from someone who doesn't love him.
