I think I will give many thoughts about Ryuki, possibly even for each episode (instead of arc). I think currently this place is the only one to discuss Ryuki currently and the only place to share my thoughts (Not to be attention seeking but I hope most of my thoughts are responded).

How will she help here btw? She's not a fighter and can only watch over him from outside mirror. Like when Ren is outmatched to a monster (or worse, too weak to escape and will be killed), she can't do anything to save him if he's still inside the mirror.

And btw, what I mean for "I also have to give it to Yui too in this department" before is that her kindness and heroism rivals Shinji's, as the topic before was about how Shinji takes spotlight with his heroism, not about how she's smarter/more sensible.

Yeah, obviously the flaw of this act is that he doesn't know these people at all, which even gets pointed out to him in the episode. He thinks he's doing heroic things with this but with the flaws there it gets negated. Shinji is someone who acts before he thinks (like even in your signature wants to poke his nose to everything), so yeah confidence getting the best of him will happen. Though for the last one, I mean isn't Ren an another Rider?

Yeah. I still wonder how simply misnaming someone is considered so memorable and funny by people.
