He's basically a British Batman. That design, the JLA Classified one, debuted a few years after Ryuki aired, and... I'm not saying Ed McGuinness cribbed it from Ryuki, but man. MAN. There're a lot of similarities in those designs, the way the chestplate and visor work, the bodysuit, the gloves... Very similar designs.

Yes I remember this character and I actually like that rendition as well. Plus it's fine if it has resemblences. You won't believe how hard I was laughing circa 2002 when I went to the TV Asahi website, enter their Ryuki page, and immediately as I see Kamen Rider Knight I said Kamen Rider Batman, Bat Rider, Kamen Bat, the list goes on.
