On the other hand though, it does at least give me more appreciation for the language -- it shows that it's something it's actually possible to translate fully! Like you said, there was so much thought put into this.

The sub I watched actually left the entirety of those conversations untranslated bar one very specific one late in the show, and I was actually highly appreciative of that. Not only did it allow the air of mystery to keep building, but that one specific conversation being translated was a good call, because I imagine without it alot of viewers reactions would be "But why did they... what?" Or maybe that's just me.
