So, let’s see how this goes.

A million years ago (or, uh, January, which might as well be a million years ago), Fredbob392 posted some pictures of a SO-DO he got in a grab bag. I thought it looked neat, and I was curious about the line, and he offered to throw his spare my way if I covered shipping. It was an incredibly generous thing for someone to do, and I really appreciated it. I also really appreciated the figure, which was a blast to put together. It sparked a love of SO-DO in me, and I decided then that if I ever had any spares, I’d try and pay it forward.

Uh, I’ve got some spares, y’all.

After a few months of buying boxes online, I’ve found myself with a bunch of dupes. I’d like to send them to folks who are interested in trying out SO-DO, or maybe just need a little distraction right now. But, I know that money’s tight for folks, things are economically uncertain, and I want to make it easy on people. So we’re going to try a social experiment, and I’m going to offer these extra SO-DO on a pay-what-you-can basis.

Put simply (too late), these are available to anyone in the US. (Sorry overseas friends, I want to help you out but my interest in doing so pales next to the difficulty of international shipping. Sorry. My good deeds got limits!) Shipping is $8.50 Priority Mail for 1-4 boxes. Beyond that, pay what you can. If things are tight and all you can swing is postage, I’m happy to send them your way. If you’ve got a couple bucks you want to throw my way, that’s cool, too. To make sure these get spread around, please don’t request more than 4 boxes. Also, try not to take just one box in a set unless it’s one I’m listing multiples of. It’s not the end of the world if you just need one of the two boxes in a set, but it means that I might end up with a single box no one wants. Finally, if these are going to be your first SO-DO, please consider posting your thoughts in the SO-DO thread. You don’t have to, but I’m curious what you’ll think of these toys.
