Oh, and while we're on this subject, I might as well clarify that the characters at the beginning of each episode are literally just the same "don't sit too close to the TV" message also written in Japanese right below, since it'd be a pretty useless warning if nobody could read it. I figured that one was self-explanatory, so I didn't mention it.

Oh, the others are definitely upset about it too. Everyone in that room genuinely cares about Mika, it's just that Yuusuke feels these things deeper than most people. When he's out looking for Mika, there's even a scene with Jean apologizing to her mother for making such a poorly timed remark.

It's a little less obvious because he doesn't actually change forms until getting knocked off a ledge, but there's a moment right before that where Badjisu flies off, and Kuuga is trying to look around and listen for him, which of course would be easier with Pegasus Form's enhanced senses.

The show doesn't make it totally explicit right away, but the objects Kuuga uses for weapons all turn back to normal when he's done with them.
