[Salaryman Zero]

Random thoughts:

- Still not really feeling the Zett suit but I really do like his Eye Slugger crest.

- Aaand we're back to the fusion of past Ultras thing again. I'm not a fan of this year's henshin gimmick either, it's too Orb/Geed for me. And that device certainly doesn't beat the streamlined-ness of Taiga's gauntlet.

- The Alpha Edge form looks fine, like an armored-up version of his standard mode. It appears to be the martial-arts form, which makes sense given Leo.

- Beta Smash is AWESOME. That is an awesome design. The mask looks like a Redman homage, plus the Taro chest-plate; though I don't know if I see the Ace influence? Either way, looks badass and not overtly-busy, which is a huge plus these days. This appears to be the red "Strong" form, true to Ultra tradition. Plus, those cheeks though.

- Gamma Future is a bit hmm for me. I like the idea of using the Heisei trio and I like the Green Ranger-esque vest, though the overall design seems a little too messy and mosaic-y for me. Perhaps this is his blue speed/psychic form?

- Oh boy I love the mechas! Here's hoping this is set in the main M78 timeline, sometime between Mebius and ZAP Spacy, continuity be damned! I think it's a cool evolution from plain ol' jets, and I'm happy we're getting attack teams back. Bringing back Sevengar and Windom is also a dope homage to Capsule Monsters. I wonder if we'll get other mechs like Jumborg Ace...I'd love to see the team use a refitted King Joe!

- Here's hoping Zett keeps up the incredible standard of quality for action scenes that Taiga set. Overall I'm pretty hyped for this series. Although the transformation trinket is a little underwhelming, I dig a lot of the premise (giant mechs, Zero playing mentor) and Zett's forms aren't too offensive (I'd say they're better than Taiga's, honestly). Can't wait!
