Those are both good points. White Dino Ranger and his clone experienced strain due to drawing the same power from the Morphin' Grid and if that's the case for the Legendary Ranger Keys and the originals, it could be that the Morphin' Grid limits the keys to function for about a minute per use before severing their connection as a way to prevent strain.
