His Henshin is also bizarre. On a show with a dozen different Henshins, his is the one where I thought they'd go small (he's a scientist, he'll probably just say "Henshin" in a regular voice and insert his Card Deck normally) but they went SO BIG. He throws his Deck in the air, leans in super close to the mirror to shout Henshin, catches his Deck and inserts it. Man, what.

In my head, he's some goofy dad who doesn't really get it, but wants to play along. His Henshin is like some middle-aged dude learning a TikTok dance to impress his preteen daughter. Like, Dad, no, that is not how you Henshin, oh my god please don't do that in front of my friends from Rider Battle.

It's definitely not my favorite.I think it's that it's got all this momentum from the Contract Monster, and then there's a switch-over, a hand-off to Tiger, and it just halts. It's like a roller coaster that gets to the top of the hill, and up there's a platform to unload the passengers.
