It's a difficult thing to define, but I feel like I know it when I see it. Too often, Yui stories barely even guest-star Yui. I don't need it to only feature her (although, Jesus, that would be a start) but I need to feel like it's about her, how she changes or grows as a result of a story. I don't feel like the show does more than pay lip service to Yui's character when it comes to the plots she's in (a ton of times it's just Protect Yui, like she's a priceless vase instead of a human being with thoughts and emotions and a rich internal life), so a story like this where she has to protect herself, it's a tiny step in the right direction.

I don't know who "Psyco-Rogue" is (I guess one of the monsters?), but, yeah, I meant that scene in the lab.
