Kids show or not, probably my biggest issue with it was that it took itself way too seriously for the type of show that it actually ended up being. Like, maybe it was just me, but I could almost hear the writers of Dragon Knight constantly going "This isn't your dumb dumb Power Rangers guys! This is a REAL TOKU SHOW." Bleh.
