To me, it's said with resignation, or exhaustion. An acknowledgement that she's asking a question, but clarifying that she shouldn't expect an answer. With the other translation, "Depends on the question," it sounds more like he's allowing for the possibility that she'll ask something he wants to answer. I really prefer him throwing shade with a What About Our Relationship Makes You Think You'll Get An Answer, rather than a more succinct Ugh Maybe.
