I might be in the minority on this, but I actually really, really like when the Final Form doesn't get a new weapon and has to use the signature weapon of the previous one. It makes it feel like that previous form wasn't completely obsolete and that its power is still in some way being used now, which is a trap a lot of Rider series can fall into these days with how much forms they throw in -- so seeing Type: Tridoron use Type: Formula's weapon makes things feel more like they all had more of a point that's being represented in the final loadout.

Or even when there's no form between the final and base? It's STILL awesome. I lowkey think it's so sick that Decade Complete still uses the Ride Booker, and that Ghost Mugen for some reason decides to rock out with the Gan Gan Saber's Naginata mode! It gives so much more personality than "new toy, use it".


I think if there IS a new weapon though, it either has to be a catalyst for the Final Form or has to be the only new thing for me to really be into it; like Blade's King Rouzer or Hibiki's Armed Saber. Otherwise it just feels like One More Thing added on and like it doesn't have much of a point. Biiiit of an exception for OOO's stuff here since the Medals didn't really do much, but hey.
