That's probably part of it. I think the real key is simply that Jaraji gives his victims time to be scared, though. With most Grongi, they kind of go around murdering people, and that's it. It's scary, but only on the level that you might die. Jaraji tells his victims they will die four days in advance, and leaves them with that fear in the meanwhile. Watching them cower and tremble is half the fun for him. His methods are sadistic even by Grongi standards, and that's what pushes Yuusuke over the edge. It's like I said. Jaraji is a scumbag among scumbags.
