Yeah, I'd say Fourze underwent a large amount of flanderization.
I didn't do a full rewatch like Switch, but I did revisit some of the earlier episodes and I had noticed Yuki wasn't anywhere near as annoying as I remembered, so I'm thinking she gets dialed up by a lot as it goes on.

While I'm still somewhat curious, I'm also quite glad I dropped Hibiki at 29. If even the cast agrees that the behind the scenes meddling ruined things, then I'm fine with the first half~
