That was exactly what I meant and I wanted to express; Yusuke being sick of Kuuga from the beginning, from Minori's worries about him at early that he has to be violent for the others, and gradually worn down overtime with him being pained more and more with all the humans he failed to save. But like you said there and what I asked, he's still repressing it throughout the series, but he reached his breaking point at Jaraji and it's no turning back for Yusuke (even if he has to hold if off like minimizing damage with Rising Titan) that now Grongis anger him for real like Baberu here because he brings up the bodycounts, which has been accumulated until now. Oh I was thinking about mainly the humans Yusuke failed to save part above the violence part.

To be fair, all Minori says is that Ichijou rarely smiles, not that he never does at all, which I'd argue is true enough. Keep in mind that we the viewers also get to see those smiles he hides, or does without anyone around, a luxury the other characters in the show don't have.

Probably not Minori.. but about Yusuke who always interacts with him, seeing the tiny smile he holds back as much as viewers...that possibly doesn't count to him.
