Sure! That's maybe a possible actual read on this show! I mean, people were excited about the constant connection of cellphones, until they realized, wait, constant connection? Cellphones can represent that ways people try to navigate relationships, how we try to determine the appropriate amount of ourselves to make available to others. Faiz as a show is currently about a lot of the same things!

(And, I'm not even a little mad at the star-crossed nature of the star-crossed lovers, since half of the show has been about Team Orphnoch and Team Faiz crossing paths without realizing it. It's the gimmick of the show right now! And I think it's been pretty fun! Even if all it gave us was Yuuji imploring Takumi to be a better man, I'd defend it to my death, and we've gotten so much more out of it.)
