I liked the original version of Garo. The first two seasons and the three movies that accompanied them. As well as the one season and the one recent movie that focuses on the son of the original Garo character.

All of the other stuff they could've kept.

I would like to have seen more of Kouga Saezima and his adventurers then what we had got. I would've loved to have had a series that focused on Kouga's father. (just find a man to play the younger version of him for earlier flash backs from his past)

I was fond of Makai Retsuden though. But that's because I'm already familiar with the characters that were featured in there.

Now this click bait Garo series. 8 episodes in with 4 to go and no Garoing going on at all. Now I see if this series was 25 episodes. Then I could accept what we're getting from them. Because I'd know we still had a good amount of time left to get to some Garoing done. But that's not the case here.
