That's what pisses me off the most. The franchise is on par with TMNT and even Marvel and DC, yet they get the short end of the stick. I wanted the show to mature up a bit/aom for a broader audience instead of just kids to try and obtain new fans, but the 2017 movie was supposed to do that and it failed.

Guess that is why I'm having a love-hate feelings towards the show right now.
