What gets me is that part of the thing that holds G.I. Joe back these days is- apart from the fact that even though we live in the Revenge of the 80s, those days are long gone and ain't coming back no matter how hard certain parties try- that the biggest attraction it had back in the 80s wasn't the characters... it was the vehicles. And a vehicle-heavy line like that is something that's just not feasible in this day and age and never will be again.
