Yesterday I was able to check out the entry grade Zero One kit.

Here it is with a little silver paint and black details:


The Zero One suit is beautifully simple and it translates well to a model kit with few stickers. The kit comes with grey/silver stickers for the arms. It's not an easy paint job because the area is recessed and its a large swath.

Compared to the Figuarts:



The entry grade kit is "bigger" and more in scale with the Figure-rise standard line. It actually looks very accurate to the show suit, insofar as SHF are very action figure-y and thinned out.

So why did I pick up the entry grade kit when I already have the SHF? To put it inside my computer of course! It's hard to get a picture, but ever since the Zero One suit was revealed to be fluorescent yellow, I've wanted to do a UV display.



My next mod will be to add an LED into the head to give those eyes some glow. I'll post an update with the results.
