Well the conclusion of her arc is yet to come but I think maybe there was a lot of unseen potential with her interactions like when Takumi asked her for advice about Kiba. She's an important character but she does feel detached from most of the story, possibly due to the focus on those Ryusei School guys ever since the Delta arc.

It's just weird that, after her story with Takumi, she's such a background player. She's definitely in the mix when it comes to the romantic hijinks plot, but she's not a prominent player in anything else. I'm glad to hear the show ain't done with her, but, man, a lot of episodes where she is not well served.
