You know, I really didn’t like this episode at first. The new guy screams "Oh look at me I’m so cool, buy my toys!" so much it hurts.

But the end scene changed everything, because instead of the show actually believing the hype Mabusheena just slaps his face and makes us aware how horrible he actually is.

Now, I know this show will try to make us see things form his perspective and eventually it will all fall into place and we can accept him, but I just really like how we aren’t immediately supposed to gush about the new shiny Ranger, he’s allowed to bring some deep, heartfelt conflict into the mix and that’s great.
