Yeah this would basically mean all original stuff from end of Dino Fury onward.

Given the reception of the BOOM! Studio comic continuity, I wouldn't be surprised if they went that direction -- Creating totally original powers, suits and team names. Granted the comics are also heavily MMPR-reliant so that'd be the main drawback I'd say. But if they utilize what seasons they already did it could be fine. Imagine Shattered Grid adapted into a multi-episode season arc.

That said, ending the partnership could mean something like that they could lose the right to depict Toei-created suits, monsters, etc.in future projects. Who knows. Gotta wait for confirmation.
