Maybe something from the 2010s would be best seeing as the 2000s are starting to seem properly old now. Not sure whether I'd want one I like or try and make something bad into something really good, plus shows like Zi-O technically could work as a way of introducing the unseen riders.

If it's going to be an adaptation, why does it always have to be US though? Maybe a shorter British adaptation on ITV or something could work and might be more suited to the darker and more realistic themes!
