If you just build one or two models kits, its probably not worth it. But if you build a lot, the markers will last a long time. I highly recommend gold, silver, and black. Stickers are typically used in place of metallic colors.

I think this is the scary part. People are afraid to mess up their kits. You cannot 100% undo the paint. But its easy to clean up and fix where you made some mistakes. Any kit that comes with extra parts, you can practice on those. Gundam kits often re-ruse runners so there are left over parts. I recommend buying a cheap SD kit for $5-10 and practice on that.

This is up to you. How often to you touch and play with the model kit? Once it is set, alcohol based paint is pretty sturdy. For detail paint, it's unlikely to come off. If you painted a large area, I recommend top coat spray to protect.

In general, top coat is a good way to protect all model kits and make any toy look better.

Is there ABS plastic in minipla or super minipla ? is there a way to recognise it ? (I think I read on some plastic model that some plastic parts were ABS but I wonder if it isn't for gunpla).
Plastic model kits from Bandai use all different kinds of plastic. Mostly ABS I believe. Bandai lists the plastic type on the outside of the box.
There are a couple of ways to tell what kind of plastic it is

After working with a lot of kits, you can start to tell on your own.
But most important, you should not use Gundam marker on joints or places of stress. There is a specific marker
Gundam Marker GM22 200
that is popular for making joints look metallic- this one can break down plastic if you use too much.
Any porous plastic will break down when any type of paint is introduced. This is where primer and top coats help.
But again, I am only suggesting Gundam paint markers on details and small areas. I do not recommend to use them over large areas (greater than 4cm maybe?) because it won't look as clean as an airbrush.
