Alright, this probably belongs in the “what are you watching” thread, but it’s more of a discussion point if I put it here. I’ve got through 16 episodes of Go-Busters, with the 5 assembled, I’ve decided to take after a reviewer from TV Tropes and do a list of my opinions of the show so far.

Yoko comes off as more annoying than endearing and the lack of focus episodes she’s had so far doesn’t help.
Why isn’t “One Wish, One Day” the main ending? It certainly sounds a lot better than both the actual main ending and the OP.
Ryuji’s dynamic with Gorisaki comes off as a cheap attempt to recreate Yuto’s dynamic with Deneb from Den-O. But it comes off as… off, due to the fact that Ryuji is a lot more amiable than Yuto.
When your villain’s show-only device has a cooler voice than the main toys for the season, you’ve done goofed up.
what purpose does Messiah serve in this series? Aside from kicking off the backstory, he’s done nothing but talk about destruction and suffering.
I’m probably missing something here, but why was Jin’s first act upon returning to steal Enertron? Seems unnecessarily dickish.
Is the whole weakness thing supposed to be a gag or a handicap? The script seems inconsistent.
