Age has nothing to do with it honestly. I've watched Power Rangers on DVD since 2013 and what I look for is a strong story. There are times in the whole of the 27 series run it seems like nothing's there. If the story is strong I'll watch start to finish. I also watch to see how well it's adapted and in a few cases they gut it to the core and start from scratch. In Space had done this with Mega Ranger.

Mega Force was the big problem with Power Rangers. Part 1 could have gone a full 40 but due to the 20th they were forced to hybrid with the next one. The back 20 was crammed and very badly executed.
